Five Wrestlers Win Individual Titles at Trine Invitational

ANGOLA, Ind. --- Five select members of the defending Ohio Atheltic Conference Champion Baldwin Wallace University wrestling team won individuals titles at the unscored Trine Invitational hosted by Trine (Ind.) University inside the Kenter Sports Center.

Junior 125-pounder Chris Doyle (Akron/Green), freshman 133-pounder Charlie Nash (Norwalk), sophomore 165-pounder Anthony Arroyo (Maumee), sophomore 184-pounder Zeckary Lehman (Akron/Revere), junior 285-pounder Gabe Mahaney (Green), as they each won individual titles and finished the day with 4-0 records for BW.

Along with the first place finishers, freshman 133-pounder Dante Ginnetti (Poland/Seminary), senior 174-pounder Graham Montague (Independence) and junior 197-pounder Tyler Maclellan (Medina/Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy) each finished in second. Ginnetti finished the day with a 3-1 record, Montague had a 4-1 record and Maclellan finished with a 2-1 record.

In addition, freshman 141-pounder Aaron Kelly (Rocky River) placed third and freshman 141-pounder Nicholas Berry (Dayton/Carroll), sophomore 157-pounder Benjamin Hooff (Worthington/Thomas Worthington) and junior 174-pounder Grant Rathburn (New Albany/Bishop Harley) each placed fourth in their respective weight classes.

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Saturday, November 19 when they travel to Alliance to compete at the Mount Union Duals inside the McPherson Academic and Athletic Complex. The Yellow Jackets square off against Thiel (Pa.) College at 10 a.m., Heidelberg University at 12 p.m., the University of Mount Union at 2 p.m. and Greensboro (N.C.) College at 6 p.m.
