BEREA, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University women's lacrosse sophomore midfielder Kayla Miller (Hudson) earned her first Ohio Athletic Conference Offensive Player-of-the-Week honor for her strong performances last week.
Miller set a BW single-game record with 10 goals in the 18-8 win over non-conference foe Southwestern (Texas) University. She also scored two goals in the 11-9 victory against Allegheny (Pa.) College.
This season, Miller is currently second on the team with 25 goals and has added five assists, which makes her third on the team with 30 points.
Last season as a defender, Miller scored seven goals and added six assists for 13 points. She also caused 14 turnovers and picked up 22 ground balls.
Miller and the Yellow Jackets are back in action on Wednesday, April 6 when they host NCAA Division II Ursuline College for a non-conference game on Tressel Field inside George Finnie Stadium.
