BEREA, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University women's lacrosse sophomore midfielder Kayla Miller (Hudson) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Lacrosse Offensive Player-of-the-Week for the second time this season and in her career.
Miller led BW to a 2-0 record last week with nine goals and three assists for 12 points. In a 19-5 win over Muskingum University last Wednesday, she scored five goals and added one assist. Last Saturday in a 15-12 win against Otterbein University, Miller scored four goals and added two assists.
After making the switch to midfield this season, Miller has scored a team-high 41 goals and is tied for the team lead in points with 50.
The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Wednesday, April 20 when they travel to Alliance to square-off against the reigning OAC champion University of Mount Union inside Mount Union Stadium at 7:30 p.m.
