Baldwin Wallace Women's Golf Team Stands In Fifth Place After Day One Of Wittenberg Invitational

BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin Wallace University women's golf team is currently in fifth place at the annual Pat Clouse Invitational hosted by Wittenberg University at the Windy Knoll Golf Course in Springfield, Ohio.

The Yellow Jacket "A" team shot a first round total of 332 strokes while the "B" squad carded a 374 and stands in 11th place. 
 
Leading the Yellow Jacket "A" team was sophomore All-Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) player Rebecca Kapusta (Independence) with a career-best 81. Freshman Miranda Cunningham (Dayton/ Dayton Christian)and freshman Miranda Rockich (Akron/ Green) each fired an 82. Sophomore All-Ohio Athletic Conference player Brooke Hamilton (Cleveland/ St. Joseph Academy) shot an 87 while freshman Rebecca Jones (Hilliard/Darby) rounded the "A" team scores with a 90.

The Yellow Jacket "B" team was led by senior Diana Han (Curitiba, BRAZIL) who fired a career-best round of 85. Senior Nicole Carlone (Canton/ St. Thomas Aquinas) shot 94 while freshman Sarah Allred (Akron/ Green) fired an 97.   Rounding out the "B" squad was sophomore Sarah Terrill (Cuyahoga Falls/Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy) with a 98.

The Yellow Jackets will conclude the fall portion of their schedule tomorrow in the final round of the Pat Clouse Invitational.
