The Yellow Jacket "A" team carded a total of 338 strokes and was led by freshman Emilee Woolf (Ravenna/ Senior) who carded a 79 on the par 72 course to place first individually. Woolf was followed by freshman Miranda Cunningham (Dayton/ Dayton Christian) with an 83 and sophomore Rebecca Kapusta (Independence) who carded an 85. Cunningham was second overall and Kapusta was third. In addition sophomore Brooke Hamilton (Cleveland/ St. Joseph Academy) turned in a score of 91, while freshmanMiranda Rockich (Akron/ Green) finished with a score of 98. Woolf and Cunningham both were named tournament medalists for their performances on the day.

The Yellow Jacket "B" team shot a total of 361 strokes to place second.  Freshman Rebecca Jones (Hilliard/Darby) shot an 88 finishing one shot ahead of freshman Mary Crisafio (Pittsburgh, Pa./ The Linsly School) who carded an 89. In addition, senior Diana Han (Curitiba, BRAZIL) had a 94, freshman Sarah Allred (Akron/ Green) had a 90, and senior Nicole Carlone (Canton/ St. Thomas Aquinas) carded a 105 to round out the teams score.

Following the Capital Tournament tomorrow, the Yellow Jackets will compete next weekend at the Allegheny College of Pennsylvania Tournament on Oct. 3-4 at the Meadville Country Club and then end their fall season on Oct. 9-10 at the Annual Wittenberg University "Clash at the Clouse" Tournament at the Windy Knolls Golf Course in Springfield, Ohio.
