Men's Outdoor Track and Field Competes at Walsh Tune-Up

NORTH CANTON, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's outdoor track and field team competed at the Walsh Tune-Up, hosted by NCAA Division ll Walsh University. The meet was unscored.

The Yellow Jackets individual events highlights included:

  • Freshman All-Ohio Athletic Conference sprinter Wesley Noeth (Powell / Olentangy Liberty) won the 400-meter dash in a time of 48.64
  • Junior Nick Young (Wadsworth) placed second in the 400-meter dash in a time of 49.29
  • Freshman Samuel Skor (Columbia Station / Columbia) finished third in the 400-meter hurdles in a time of 59.73

Field events highlights:

  • Freshman Connor Radojcsics (Mount Gilead / Northmor) placed fifth in the pole vault with a mark of 3.71 meters
  • Sophomore Andrew Kauble (Clyde) finished seventh in the triple jump with a distance of 11.07 meters
  • Sophomore Alex Trusso (Valley View / Cuyahoga Heights) placed 23rd in the shot put with a mark of 11.95 meters

On the relay side:

  • In the 4x100 meter relay crew, freshman Cam Gay (Aurora, Colo. / Eaglecrest), sophomore Rodney Washington Jr. (Warrensville Heights / Benedictine), freshman Gavin Franks (Cortland / Lakeview) and sophomore Kaeden Faggs (Marion / Harding) finished second in a time of 42.83

BW is back in action on Friday, April 26 as they compete in the 14th Ashland Alumni Open.
