BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION:  Ryan Weir will compete in his third season of track at Baldwin Wallace University in 2013-2014. He has earned one varsity letter in that sport.

GENERAL INDOOR TRACK INFORMATION:  Ryan enters his sophomore season competing in sprints, runs, relays and distance medley relays. He has helped the Yellow Jackets compile a 73-19-1 record in his time in the Brown and Gold.

As a freshman in 2011-2012, Ryan competed in his first season of indoor track and field. He posted season best times in the 200-meter dash (25.11 seconds) and the 500-meter run (1:14.34).

As a sophomore in 2012-2013, Ryan competed in his second season of indoor track and field. He ran the 200-meter (23.52 seconds) and the 400-meter (53.03 seconds) dashes for his season-bests. Ryan also competed on the 4x400-meter relay (3:31.43) and the 4000-meter distance medley relay (10:50.37) teams.

As a junior in 2013-2014, Ryan will look to compete in his third season of track and field and will look to earn his second varsity letter.

GENERAL OUTDOOR TRACK INFORMATION:  Ryan enters his sophomore season competing in sprints, hurdle races and relays. He has helped BW compile a 69-11 record in his first two seasons as a Yellow Jacket.

As a freshman in 2011-2012, Ryan competed in his first season of outdoor track and field.  In the 100-meter dash, Ryan posted a season-best mark of 11.98 seconds.  In the 200-meter dash, he crossed the finish line at a time of 24.55 seconds.  Ryan also competed in the 400-meter hurdles and finished with a season-best time of 1:00.70.

As a sophomore in 2012-2013, Ryan competed in his second season of outdoor track and field. Ryan set personal-bests in the 200-meter dash (23.43 seconds) at the Coastal Carolina University Invitational, in the 400-meter dash (50.83 seconds) at the OAC East Split meet, and in the 400-meter hurdles (58.12 seconds) at the Marv Frye Invitational 2013. He also competed on the 4x200-meter relay (1:32.87) and the 4x400-meter relay (3:20.47) teams.

As a junior in 2013-2014, Ryan will look to compete in his third season of track and field and will look to earn his second varsity letter.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION:  Ryan grew up in Lodi, Ohio and graduated from Cloverleaf High School. He ran track for four seasons and earned four varsity letters. Ryan ran cross country for one season and earned one varsity letter. He also played football for three seasons.

In track, Ryan was named team captain for consecutive seasons. He was also awarded Suburban League honorable mention for his efforts in the 4x200-meter and 4x400-meter relay races. Ryan also recorded high school-bests in the 400-meter dash with a time of 52.6 seconds and in the 200-meter dash with a mark of 23.6 seconds.
