BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Chris Lopez will compete in his third season of track at Baldwin Wallace University in 2013-2014. He has earned one varsity letter in track. As a freshman, Chris also played one season of soccer.
GENERAL SOCCER INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2010-2011, Chris participated in his first and only season of soccer.
GENERAL INDOOR TRACK INFORMATION: Chris enters his senior season competing in sprinting races. He has helped the Yellow Jackets compile a 73-19-1 record in his time in the Brown and Gold.
As a freshman in 2010-2011, Chris did not participate in indoor track and field.
As a sophomore in 2011-2012, Chris competed in his first season of indoor track and field. In the 55-meter dash, he recorded a personal-best time of 7.94 seconds at the 2012 B-W Mid-January Meet. Chris also recorded season-best marks of 26.34 seconds in the 200-meter dash and 1:01.03 in the 400-meter dash.
As a junior in 2012-2013, Chris competed in his second season of indoor track. He sprinted in the 200- and 400-meter dashes where he finished with season-bests of 25.80 seconds and 57.02 seconds, respectively.
As a senior in 2013-2014, Chris will compete in his third season of indoor track and field and will look to earn his second varsity letter.
GENERAL OUTDOOR TRACK INFORMATION: Chris enters his senior season competing in sprints. In his two seasons of competition, he has helped BW compile a 69-11 record.
As a freshman in 2010-2011, Chris did not participate in outdoor track and field.
As a sophomore in 2011-2012, Chris competed in his first year of outdoor track and field. He ran the 100-meter dash and posted his season-best time of 12.71 seconds at the Charlotte 49er Classis & Combined Events meet. He also posted season-bests in the 200-meter with a mark of 26.34 seconds and the 400-meter with a time of 57.15 seconds.
As a junior in 2012-2013, Chris competed in his second season of outdoor track. He competed in three different sprinting events and set a career record in each. His best 100-meter dash came at the OAC East Split with a time of 12.56 seconds. Both Chris' 200-meter and 400-meter bests were at the Marv Frye Invitational 2013 and were set when he crossed the finish line at times of 25.02 seconds and 56.66 seconds, respectively.
As a senior in 2013-2014, Chris will compete in his third season of outdoor track and field and will look to earn his second varsity letter.
HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Chris grew up in the Washington D.C. area and graduated from McKinley Technology High School. Chris competed in two years of soccer.
