BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION:  Ovidiu Pavel will compete in his second season of track at Baldwin Wallace University in 2013-2014. He has earned a Certificate of Participation for his efforts in track as a freshman.

GENERAL INDOOR TRACK INFORMATION:  Ovidiu enters his second season competing in sprints. He has helped the Yellow Jackets compile a 37-12-1 record in his time in the Brown and Gold. Look for Ovidiu to earn his first varsity letter this season.

As a freshman in 2012-2013, Ovidiu competed in his first season of indoor track and field. He recorded a season-best in the 55-meter dash at the 2013 Mid-January Meet with a time of 6.88 seconds. Ovidiu also set a season-best time in the 200-meter dash at the 2013 Greater Cleveland College Championship with a mark of 23.74 seconds.

As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Ovidiu will look to compete in his second season of indoor track and field as he looks to earn his first varsity letter.

GENERAL OUTDOOR TRACK INFORMATION:  Ovidiu enters his second season competing in sprints and relays. He has helped BW compile a record of 32-4 in his first season as a Yellow Jacket. Look for Ovidiu to earn his first varsity letter this season.

As a freshman in 2012-2013, Ovidiu competed in his first season of outdoor track and field. He set a personal-record in the 200-meter dash at the Charlotte 49er Classic with a mark of 23.47 seconds. Ovidiu recorded a season-best time in the 100-meter dash with his finish of 11.46 seconds at the Marv Frye Invitational 2013. He also competed on a 4x100-meter relay team which finished with a time of 43.21 seconds also at the Marv Frye Invitational 2013.

As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Ovidiu will look to compete in his second season of outdoor track and field and will look to earn his first varsity letter.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION:  Ovidiu grew up in Parma, Ohio and graduated from Normandy High School. He played football and ran track, earning three varsity letters in each.

In track and field, Ovidiu was named team captain his junior and senior years. He was also named to the All-Conference Team in his final three seasons.
