BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION:  Issac Baker will compete in his second season of cross country and third season of track at Baldwin Wallace University in 2013-2014. He has earned one varsity letter in cross country and two varsity letters in track.

GENERAL CROSS COUNTRY INFORMATION:  Following a season without competing, Isaac enters his junior season looking to compete in his second year of cross country. In his only season with the team, he had helped the Yellow Jackets compile a 74-56 record.

As a freshman in 2011-2012, Isaac competed in his first season of cross country. He ran his first OAC meet with a time of 28:17.50, finishing 83rd, but ran his best time at the Wooster Invitational, with a time of 19:40.87, finishing 20th overall.

As a sophomore in 2012-2013,  Isaac did not compete in cross country.

GENERAL INDOOR TRACK INFORMATION:  Isaac enters his junior season competing in distance races, relays and medleys. He has helped the Yellow Jackets compile a 73-19-1 record in his time in the Brown and Gold.

As a freshman in 2011-2012, Isaac competed in his first season of indoor track. Isaac led the team with a time of 51.57 in the 400-meter dash when he competed in the 2012 Greater Cleveland College Championship.  He also led the team with a mark of 2:02.11 in the 800-meter run when he competed in the 2012 B-W Mid-January Meet.

As a sophomore in 2012-2013,  Isaac competed in his second season of indoor track.  Isaac led BW with a mark of 2:02.33 in the 800-meter dash when he competed in the Fighting Scots Invitational.  He also competed on the only 4000-meter distance relay medley team for the Yellow Jackets whose best finish came at a mark of 10:50.37 in the OAC Split Conference Indoor event.  Isaac also competed in the 4x4000-meter relay race whose best finish came with a time of 3:44.38 in the Fighting Scots Invitational.

As a junior in 2013-2014, Isaac will compete in his third season of track and will look to earn his third varsity letter.

GENERAL OUTDOOR TRACK INFORMATION:  Isaac enters his junior season competing in sprints, distance races and relays. He has helped the Yellow Jackets compile a 69-11 record in his time in the Brown and Gold.

As a freshman in 2011-2012, Isaac competed in his first season of outdoor track. Isaac ran a team-best time of 1:58.61 in the 800-meter run at the OAC Championship meet. He also ran the 200-meter and 400-meter dashes and recorded season-bests of 23.59 and 51.44, respectively.

As a sophomore in 2012-2013,  Isaac competed in his third season of outdoor track.  He set a team-best and personal-best record in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:58.30 at the OAC East Split. Isaac also set a personal-best in the 200-meter dash, when he finished in a time of 23.31 seconds at the Marv Frye Invitational 2013, and in the 400-meter dash, when he crossed the finish line in a mark of 50.58 seconds, also at the Marv Frye Invitational 2013. He also competed in the 100-meter dash, where he finished in a time of 12.19 seconds at the 2013 Sparky Adams Invitational.  Isaac is also on the 4x400-meter relay team. The relay team's best finish came at the 2013 Division III All-Ohio Outdoor Championship when they finished with a time of 3:25.21.

As a junior in 2013-2014, Isaac will compete in his third season of track and will look to earn his third varsity letter.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION:  Isaac grew up in Lithia, Florida and graduated from Newsome High School. He ran two years of cross country and earned two varsity letters. He also ran four years of track and earned four varsity letters.

In track, Isaac was named Most Valuable Player and also held the fastest 800-meter run in the country.

Academically, Isaac was a Principle's Award winner twice.
