BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION:  Cory Lanterman will compete in his second seasons of football and track at Baldwin Wallace University in 2013-2014. Cory played two seasons of football at NCAA Division II Indiana University of Pennsylvania and earned two varsity letters. He did not run track at IUP, but earned his first varsity letter running track as a sophomore at BW.

ACADEMIC HONORS:  With a grade point average of 3.571, Cory is a member of the Dean's List. In 2012-2013, he was inducted into the Chi Alpha Sigma Athletics Honor Society.

ATHLETIC HONORS:  As a junior in 2012-2013, Cory was named as the Dick Miller BW Most Outstanding Player for Community & Family Day. He also was named as the Ohio Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 10 for his efforts against Bluffton University.
                                            
GENERAL FOOTBALL INFORMATION:  Cory enters his senior season recovering from an injury-filled first season at BW. He will compete for playing time at the wide receiver position. The Yellow Jackets compiled a 7-3 record in Cory's first season as a Yellow Jacket.

As a freshman in 2009-2010 and as a sophomore in 2010-2011, Cory played football at NCAA Division II Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He played defensive back and returned punts.

As a freshman in 2009-2010, Cory earned his first varsity letter. He appeared in eight games and made five solo tackles, intercepted two passes, including one that he ran back for a 62-yard touchdown, and broke up two passes. Cory also returned one punt for five yards.

As a sophomore in 2010-2011, Cory played his second season of football at IUP and earned his second varsity letter. He appeared in eight games and made 13 tackles, including six solo stops, and broke up two passes. He also returned 10 punts for a 3.8-yard average.

As a junior in 2012-2013, Cory competed in his first season of football at BW. He is currently injured and will possibly continue to play during the end of the season.

GENERAL OUTDOOR TRACK INFORMATION:  Following a season without competition due to injury, Cory enters his senior season looking to compete in sprints and relay races. He had helped the Yellow Jackets compile a 37-7 record in his only season running track in the Brown and Gold.

As a BW sophomore in 2011-2012, Cory competed in his first season of outdoor track and field and earned his first varsity letter. In the 100-meter dash, Cory posted a season-best time of 11.02 seconds which was second best on the team. In the the 200-meter dash, he posted the team-best time of 21.90 seconds while competing at the OAC Outdoor Championship. He also had the team-best time in the 400-meter dash at 49.50 seconds.

As a junior in 2012-13, Cory did not compete in track and field.

HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION:  Cory grew up in Streetsboro, Ohio and graduated from Streetsboro High School. He played four years of football and basketball and earned three varsity letters in each. Cory also ran four years of track and earned four varsity letters.

In football as a senior, Cory twice earned All-Portage Trail and All-District honors. He was also named the Streetsboro H.S. Most Valuable Player. In that season, Cory caught 39 passes for 875 yards and 12 touchdowns, ran the ball 15 times for 205 yards and five TDs, intercepted six passes and returned two for TDs. In his career, he combined to return seven kickoff and punt returns for TDs. In track, Cory was an OHSAA All-Ohio (Ohio High School Athletic Association) performer as a freshman, sophomore and senior. He also served as a team captain in football, basketball and track.

Academically, Cory was an Honor Roll student.
