BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION:  Alex Evers will compete in his third seasons of soccer and track at Baldwin Wallace University in 2013-2014. He has earned two varsity letters in track and a Certificate of Participation for his efforts in soccer.

GENERAL SOCCER INFORMATION:  Alex enters his junior season looking to earn playing time as a midfield/ forward on the varsity squad. The Yellow Jackets have compiled a 23-13-4 record in his time in the Brown and Gold.

As a freshman in 2011, Alex competed in his first season of soccer and earned his first Certificate of Participation for his efforts.

As a sophomore in 2012, Alex played in his second season of soccer.

GENERAL INDOOR TRACK INFORMATION:  Alex enters his junior season competing in sprinting and hurdling races. He has helped the Yellow Jackets compile a 73-19-1 record during his time at BW.

As a freshman in 2011-2012, Alex competed in his first season of indoor track. He ran the 200-meter dash in a time of 25.77 seconds and set a personal best in the 400-meter dash at the Fighting Scots Invitational with a mark of 58.72 seconds.

As a sophomore in 2012-2013, Alex competed in his second season of indoor track and field and ran a team-best in the 55-meter hurdles at the 2013 Mid-January Meet finishing in second place with a time of 8.43 seconds. He also set a team-best for the season in the 60-meter hurdles at the Fighting Scots Invitatioanl finishing in fourth place with a mark of 9.35 seconds.  Alex ran the 400-meter dash in a career-best time at the Fighting Scots Invitational when he crossed the finish line in 53.03 seconds.  He ran the 200-meter dash in a time of 25.49 seconds for his season-best also.

As a junior in 2013-2014, Alex will compete in his third season of track and field and look to earn his third varsity letter.

GENERAL OUTDOOR TRACK INFORMATION:  Alex enters his junior sesason competing in sprints, hurdles, and relay races. In his only season of outdoor track, he has helped the Yellow Jackets compile a 32-4 record.

As a freshman in 2011-2012, Alex did not compete in outdoor track and field.

As a sophomore in 2012-2013, Alex competed in his first season of outdoor track and field and ran a team-best in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 16.17 seconds at the 2013 Division III All-Ohio Outdoor Championship where he finished in 14th place.  He also set personal best times in the 200-meter dash (23.94 seconds) at the Coastal Carolina University Invitational and the 400-meter hurdles (1:04.79) at the Charlotte 49er Classic. Alex was on BW's only 4x200-meter relay team (1:32.87).

As a junior in 2013-2014, Alex will look to compete in his second year of track and field and look to earn his second varsity letter.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION:  Alex grew up in Middlefield, Ohio and graduated from Berkshire High School. He played soccer and ran track all four years in high school.

Alex recieved many accolades at Berkshire in both soccer and track. As a junior in soccer, he was named Honorable Mention for the Greater Cleveland Soccer Coaches Association. Following his senior season, Alex was named as a Northeast Ohio Senior All-Star for Division III, was a second-team G.C.S.C.A.  and second-team Chragrin Valley Conference performer. In track, he helped Bershire to a Chargrin Valley Conference title three times, while in his best event, the 110-meter hurdles, he placed second in the conference as a junior and first as a senior. Alex ended the season ranked 24th in the state of Ohio.

Academically, Alex made the Honor Roll multiple times and graduated with a 3.53 grade point average.
