WILMINGTON, Ohio – Sophomore midfielder Attila Nagy, Jr. (Lakewood) found the perfect time to net his first goal of the season as he scored the game winner in the 108th minute of Baldwin Wallace University men's soccer team's 2-1 double overtime Ohio Athletic Conference victory over Wilmington College inside Williams Stadium.

BW (10-8, 3-4 OAC) improved to 4-15-3 in the all-time series against Wilmington (10-5-2, 3-3-1 OAC) while winning for the first time on the road since the 2012 season.

In the first half, the Yellow Jackets took the early 1-0 lead when All-OAC defender Trevor Hamm (Strongsville) scored his first collegiate goal off the corner kick and assist from All-OAC and Academic All-OAC forward Danny Ruple (Berea/Berea-Midpark) at the 16:11 mark.

In the second half, the Quakers tied the game at 1-1 when junior midfielder Zach Burgmeier tallied the equalizer off the assist from freshman forward Piyo Debesay at 48:09.

After a scoreless first overtime period and with the game looking like it was going to end in a draw, BW got one last look at the net and Nagy, Jr. took full advantage as he buried the shot into the lower left corner for the game-winner.

In net for the Yellow Jackets, senior netminder Patrick Mehal (Richfield/Revere) picked up the victory as allowed one goal on 13 shots to improve to 10-8 on the season.

BW is back in action on Wednesday, October 30 when it plays its regular season finale with an OAC game against the University of Mount Union on the Tressel Field inside The George Finnie Stadium at 7 p.m.
