Miller Earns Second Career OAC Men’s Golfer of the Week Honor

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University senior Hunter Miller (Frankfort/Adena) has been selected as the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week for the second time in his career.

Miller, who was the runner-up at the season opening Gatorade Collegiate Classic hosted by the College of Wooster, fired a two-round career-low one under par 143 on the par-72 and 6,730-yard Zoar Village layout.  He had an opening round of 73 and closed out the tournament with a career-low 70 to finish just four strokes off the lead.   BW won the tournament by an impressive 10 strokes. 

For his career, Miller has played in 31.5 rounds and is averaging 81.27 strokes per round. He earned his first weekly accolade last season after winning his first collegiate medalist honor vs. Thomas More (Ky.) College.  

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Saturday and Sunday, September 8-9 when it hosts the BW Invitational at the Mallard Creek Golf Club in Columbia Station.
