BEREA, Ohio – Under the direction of fourth-year head coach Jim Hilvert, the Baldwin Wallace University football team opens up the 2021 season with three straight road games.

Hilvert and the Yellow Jackets kickoff the season against a first-time opponent when they travel to Virginia to take on Hampden-Sydney College on September 4 for their lone non-conference game. BW begins Ohio Athletic Conference action on Saturday, September 11, with a road contest against Otterbein University followed by a trip to the University of Mount Union on Saturday, September 18.

Heidelberg University travels to Berea for the Yellow Jackets' home opener on Saturday, September 25, at 1:30 p.m. inside George Finnie Stadium while the home portion of the schedule continues with Community & Family Day and Homecoming against Capital University on Saturday, October 2, at 2 p.m.

Following the bye week, BW returns to the road on Saturday, October 16, to take on Muskingum University.

Wilmington College and Marietta College come to town in back-to-back weeks – Saturday, October 23 and October 30 with the Marietta game serving as the annual Hall of Fame Day.

The Yellow Jackets hit the road for the last time on Saturday, November 2, against Ohio Northern University.

BW closes out the 2021 regular season by hosting OAC and crosstown rival John Carroll University on Saturday, November 13 for Seniors' Day and the 33rd Battle for the Cuyahoga Gold Bowl Trophy.
