No. 25 Football Reels in OAC Victory over Muskingum

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The No. 25 nationally-ranked Baldwin Wallace University football team won an Ohio Athletic Conference game over Muskingum University by a final score of 49-10 at Zanesville High School's Sulsberger Memorial Stadium.

BW (5-1, 4-1 OAC) improves to 49-13-2 in the all-time series with Muskingum (3-3, 2-3 OAC), including winning 14 of the last 26 meetings.

Offensively for the Yellow Jackets, junior Academic All-OAC quarterback Keagan Armitage (Ashland) completed six-of-eight passes for 109 yards with one touchdown. Junior running All-OAC running back Jon Murray, Jr. (Cincinnati/Withrow) led the ground game as he rushed for a game-high 131 yards on 17 carries with two touchdowns. Murray, Jr. now has an OAC-leading 12 touchdowns.  Junior wide out Darius Stokes (Canton/GlenOak) led the air attack as he caught four passes for 67 yards with one touchdown.  Defensively, senior Academic All-OAC linebacker Nick Pankow (Medina) recorded eight tackles.

The Fighting Muskies were led by junior quarterback Jordan Garrett as he completed 12-of-27 passes for 121 yards with one touchdown and one interception.  Junior running back Donny Wilkinson led the rushing attack with 23 yards on 10 carries.  Junior wide out Ja'Lin Goodman led the receiving unit with four catches for 44 yards with one touchdown.  Defensively, senior All-OAC defensive back Brian Brown tallied a game-best 14 stops.
