Football Ranked for Second Straight Week in D3football.com and AFCA Polls

BEREA, Ohio – For the second straight week, the Baldwin Wallace University football team is ranked in both the D3football.com and American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Top-25 polls.

BW (8-1, 7-1 Ohio Athletic Conference) climbed one spot in the D3football.com poll to 20 with 145 points, which marked the fifth straight week the team has been ranked in the poll.  The Yellow Jackets  climbed four spots to 21 in the AFCA poll with 220 points.

The Yellow Jackers are one of two of OAC schools ranked in both polls as they join the University of Mount Union at No. 4 in the D3football.com and AFCA polls.

BW closes out the regular season portion of the schedule on Saturday, November 13 when it hosts an OAC, Seniors' Day, Veterans' Appreciation Day and 33rd Battle for the Gold Bowl Trophy game and a potential NCAA Division III playoff berth against crosstown rival John Carroll University on the Tressel Field inside the George Finnie Stadium at 1 p.m.  Fans can follow all of the action live at https://bit.ly/2ZCc5UC.
