Baseball Ranked Second in Latest D3Baseball.com Weekly Poll

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - The Baldwin Wallace University Baseball team has moved up to the No. 2 spot in the latest D3Baseball.com/National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Top 25 Poll. 

BW sits at second with 576 points and one first place vote following only Endicott (Mass.) College with 20 first place votes and 617 total points. Shenandoah (Va.) University trails the Yellow Jackets in third place with 558 total points and two first place votes. In-state opponent Denison University received 546 points and a first place vote while Salisbury (Md.) University also finished with a first place vote and 512 points to round out the top five.

The Yellow Jackets improved to 15-3 on the season and 2-0 in the Ohio Athletic Conference this week after taking down Westminster (Pa.) College by a score of 3-2 and sweeping Ohio Northern University in the conference opening doubleheader by scores of 7-5 and 9-2.

BW is back in action tomorrow, Wednesday, March 27 when they travel to Bluffton for a rescheduled non-conference matchup against Bluffton University at 4:15 at Memorial Field.
