BEREA, Ohio - The No. 3 nationally ranked Baldwin Wallace University baseball team defeated Grove City (Pa.) College by a score of 3-2 in a non-conference contest at Fisher Field.

BW (10-2) fell to an early deficit as Grove City (8-6) capitalized off a Yellow Jacket error in the first inning. However, BW would eventually tie the game and take advantage of a Wolverines pitching change allowing them to take a 3-1 lead heading into the final frame. Grove City had one last opportunity to force the bottom of the ninth after scoring with two down, but the Brown and Gold pitching staff shut the door for the team's tenth victory of the season.
