Three Women's Indoor Track and Field Athletes Earn USTFCCCA All-Great Lakes Region Honors

Complete USTFCCCA All-Region Teams

NEW ORLEANS, La. –
 Three Baldwin Wallace University women's track and field student-athletes earned U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTCCCA) Indoor Track & Field All-Great Lakes Region honors. 

Senior All-OAC jumper Erin Kasper (Amherst/Marion Steele), senior All-OAC sprinter Lyndsey Armstrong (Ashtabula/Geneva) and freshman All-OAC distance runner Kelly Brennan (Akron/Walsh Jesuit) made the All-Great Lakes Region team.

Kasper earns her second All-Great Lakes region accolade for the high jump. This season she had a career-best leap of 5 feet 6.5 inches in the high jump at the Division III All-Ohio Championships and won the OAC Championship in the high jump.

Armstrong and Brennan each earned their first All-Great Lakes Region honors. Armstrong was named to the All-Region team in the 60-meter hurdles which she had a career-best time of 9.30 in the event at the Division III All-Ohio Championships. Brennan was named to the All-Great Lakes Region team in the 800-meter run and 1 mile run. Brennan earned All-OAC honors in both events and had career best time of 2:15.16 in the 800-meter and 5:06.19 in the 1 mile run.

The NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships are hosted by North Central College in Naperville, Illinois on Friday and Saturday March 10-11 on the Al B. Carius Track. Field events begin at 10 a.m. and the running events start at 1 p.m.
