Today's Game --  The Baldwin Wallace University football hits the road for just the second time this season when it travels to Marietta for an Ohio Athletic Conference game against Marietta College.  BW snapped a two-game losing skid as it defeated Muskingum 35-7 on Homecoming last Saturday.   Marietta picked up its first win of the season with 47-37 victpry against Wilmington at home.

Series Notes --  The Yellow Jackets and Pioneers have met 36 times on the gridiron with BW holding a 31-5 series lead. The series began in 1974 when the Yellow Jackets defeated Marietta, 73-0, in Berea. A year ago, BW beat the Pioneers, 31-7, at Don Drumm Stadium. During its seven game winning streak versus Marietta, the Yellow Jackets have outscored the Pioneers, 256-72.  The last Marietta win was a 37-31 overtime victory at BW in 2006.

Last Meeting -- The last time the Yellow Jackets and the Pioneers met on November 2, 2013, BW defeated Marrietta by a final score 31-7. Despite the loss, the Pioneers outgained the Yellow Jackets 360-313 in total yards.

Scouting the Yellow Jackets
In week four of the season, BW scored 35 points on 153 yards rushing, 161 yards passing and 314 total yards.  Muskingum scored seven points on 21 yards rushing, 156 yards passing and 177 total yards.  

Yellow Jacket Statistical Leaders
Offensively, junior quarterback Tyler Moeglin (Canton/St. Thomas Aquinas) has completed 59 of 98 passes for 698 yards with six touchdowns and five interceptions. He has also rushed for 195 yards on 51 attempts with three TDs. Junior running back Issac Reed III (Lehigh Acres, Fla./Lehigh) leads the team in rushing with 329 yards on 72 attempts with two TDs.  Senior wide receiver Kyle Dunne (Rocky River) leds the receiving corps with 19 catches for 275 yards and three TDs.  Senior Michael Slack (Casselberry, Fla./Pine Castle Christian) is second with 13 catches for 163 yards and two TDs. Junior wide receiver Mike Waggoner (Stow/ Stow-Munroe Falls) has nine catches for 117 yards.  

Defensively, senior linebacker Dan O'Brien (Warren/Howland) leads the team with 29 tackles, including three for a loss.  He has also added a safety, pass break up and a QB hurry.  Senior defensive back Austin Cordova (Perry) is second with 28 and has two pass break ups. Junior linebacker Tyler Burdorff (Painesville/Riverside) is third with 24 tackles, including three for a loss.  Burdorff has also had a QB sack and recovered a fumble.   Senior defensive lineman Luke Riemenschneider (Rocky River), who is the OAC Defensive Player of the Week, is fourth with 23 tackles.  Riemenschneider leds the team with two fumble recoveries, including one last week that went for a Finnie Stadium record 86-yard touchdown. 

Scouting The Pioneers
In week four of the season, Marietta scored 47 points on 365 yards rushing, 164 yards passing and 529 total yards. Wilmingtonl scored 37 points on 263 yards rushing, 139 yards passing and 402 otal yards. 

Pioneer Statistical Leaders
Offensively, junior QB Lucas Havens has completed completed 37 of 72 pasawa for 454 yards with two TDs and four interceptions. He also has rushed for 85 yards and two scores. Freshman Nick O'Neal tleds the team in rushing with 441 yards on 80 attempts with six TDs. Senior wide receivers Tannon Roberts and Josh Llaneza eds the receiving corps.  Llaneza has 12 catches for 198 yards and Roberts has 12 for 147 yards and two TDs.

Defensively, junior linebacker Daryl DeWindt leads the team with 36 tackles, including 4.5 for loss and a QB sack.  Freshman linebacker Tyrrell Kyle and senior linebacker Cody Rice are tied for second with 31 tackles.
