Today's Game --  The Baldwin Wallace University football team plays host to Otterbein University on Professor Appreciation Day.  BW won its third straight game with a 56-17 victory on the road at Wilmington College.  Otterbein won its second straight and fourth game in its last five with a 32-20 on the road at Muskingum University.

Series Notes --  The Yellow Jackets and Fighting Muskies have met 46 times on the gridiron with the Yellow Jackets holding a 36-9-1 series lead.  The Cardinals have won the last two meetings, including a 19-7 triumph a year ago in Westerville. The series began in 1925 with BW defeating the Otterbein, 7-0, in Berea.  The last Yellow Jacket win came in 2011 when it beat the Cardinals, 27-21, in Westerville. 

Last Meeting -- The last time BW and the Cardinals met on October 5, 2013, the Yellow Jackets fell to the Cardinals by a final score of 19-7.  Ottrebein outgained the Yellow Jackets in total offense by a count of 391 to 301

Scouting The Yellow Jackets
In week six of the season, BW scored 56 points on 242 yards rushing, 171 yards passing and 413 total yards.  Wilmington scored 17 points on 257 yards rushing, 89 yards passing and 346 total yards.  

Yellow Jacket Statistical Leaders
Offensively, junior quarterback Tyler Moeglin (Canton/St. Thomas Aquinas) has completed 78 of 132 passes for 918 yards with 10 TDs and six interceptions. He has also rushed for 353 yards on 69 attempts with four TDs. Junior running back Issac Reed III (Lehigh Acres, Fla./Lehigh) leads the team in rushing with 529 yards on 101 attempts with three TDs.  Senior wide receiver Kyle Dunne (Rocky River) leds the receiving corps with 27 catches for 382 yards and six TDs. Senior Michael Slack (Casselberry, Fla./Pine Castle Christian) is second with 15 catches for 179 yards and two TDs. Freshman Joe Kijauskas (Chesterland/West Geuaga) is third with 11 cathces for 137 yards and two TDs.

Defensively, senior linebacker Dan O'Brien (Warren/Howland) leads the team with 51 tackles, including three for a loss.  He has also added a safety, two pass break ups and a QB hurry. Junior linebacker Tyler Burdorff (Painesville/Riverside) is second with 43 stops, including four tackles for loss.  Senior defensive lineman Luke Riemenschneider (Rocky River) is third with 39 tackles and has returned a interception and fumble for a TD.  Senior defensive back Austin Cordova (Perry) is fourth with 38 tackles and has three pass break ups.

Scouting The Cardinals
In week six of the season, Otterbein scored 32 points on 296 yards rushing, 176 yards passing and 472 total yards. Muskingum scored 20 points on 180 yards rushing, 118 yards passing and 298 total yards. 

Fighting Muskie Statistical Leaders
Offensively, senior QB Brick Davis has completed 103 of 178 passes for 1257 yards with seven TD's and four interceptions.  He has also rushed for 162 yards on 45 attempts with four TD's. Sophomore Reid Hutchinson leds the team in rushing with 626 yards on 63 attempts with five TD's and averages an impressive 9.9 yards per carry.  Senior wide receiver Ryan Thombs leads the receiving corps with 17 catches for 304 yards and two TD's.  Freshman WR Logan Stepp has 16 grabs for 208 yards and a TD while senior Travis Laird has 15 catches for 176 yards and a TD.

Defensively, sophomore linebacker Austin Jones leads the team with 66 tackles. Senior linebacker Preston Pearson is second with 57 tackles and sophomore linebacker Will Brett is third with 42 stops.
