Riemenschneider Garners Second Career OAC Weekly Honor

BEREA, Ohio --  Baldwin Wallace University senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference defensive end Luke Riemenschneider (Rocky River) is this week's OAC Defensive Player of the Week.

Riemeschneider made seven tackles, including a quarterback sack and a tackle for loss, and ran back a fumble for a George Finnie Stadium-record 86 yards for a touchdown as the Yellow Jackets beat Muskingum University, 35-7,on Homecoming on October 4. Riemenschneider's fumble return for TD gave BW a 14-7 lead in the second quarter.

This season, Riemenschneider, who earned his second career OAC weekly honor, leads all BW linemen with 23 tackles, including 2.5 for loss and 1.5 QB sacks.

BW returns to action this Saturday, Oct. 11 when it travels to Marietta to play the Marietta College Pioneers at Don Drumm Stadium at 1 p.m. The next home game is on Saturday, Oct. 25 when BW entertains Otterbein University on Professor Appreciation Day at Finnie Stadium at 1:30 pm.
