Today's Game --  The Baldwin Wallace University football team plays its final regular season game as it travels to Tiffin to face Heidelberg University.   BW fell to No. 3 Mount Union 59-3 last Saturday on Seniors' Day.  Heidelberg won its second straight game with a 52-28 victory against Capital last Saturday.

Series Notes --  The Yellow Jackets and Student Princes have met 67 times on the gridiron with BW holding a 46-21 all-time series lead. The series began in 1897 with the Yellow Jackets defeating Heidelberg, 10-0, in Berea.  A year ago, the Student Princes beat BW, 42-14, in Berea. The last Yellow Jackets win came in 2011 when it beat Heidelberg, 35-20, in Berea.  The Yellow Jackets have played the Student Princes more than any other opponent in football.

Last Meeting -- The last time the BW and Heidelberg met on November 16, 2013, the Student Princes defeated the Yellow Jackets 42-14 .  Heidelberg outgained BW in total offense by a count of 673-446, including a NCAA record setting performance by senior running back Cartel Brooks with 465 rushing yards.

Scouting The Yellow Jackets
In week nine of the season, BW scored three points on 61 yards rushing, 87 yards passing and 148 total yards.  Mount Union scored 59 points on 223 yards rushing, 320 yards passing and 543 total yards.  

Yellow Jacket Statistical Leaders
Offensively, junior quarterback Tyler Moeglin (Canton/St. Thomas Aquinas) has completed 108 of 194 passes for 1,347 yards with 12 TDs and six interceptions. He also has rushed for 451 yards on 100 attempts with a team-leading seven TDs.  Junior running back Issac Reed III (Lehigh Acres, Fla./Lehigh) leads the team in rushing with 784 yards on 132 attempts with three TDs. Senior wide receiver Kyle Dunne (Rocky River) leds the receiving corps with 38 grabs for 488 yards and seven TDs.

Defensively, junior linebacker Tyler Burdorff (Painesville/Riverside) leads the team with 69 tackles.  Senior linebacker Dan O'Brien (Warren/Howland) is second with 67 stops and senior defensive lineman Luke Riemenschneider (Rocky River) is third with 59 tackles. Senior defensive back Austin Cordova (Perry) is fourth with 51 tackles.

Scouting The Student Princes
In week nine of the season, Heidelberg scored 52 points on 334 yards rushing, 262 yards passing and 596 total yards. Capital scored 28 points on 393 yards rushing, 51 yards passing and 444 total yards. 

Student Prince Statistical Leaders
Offensively, senior quarterback Michael Mees has completed 140 of 225 passes for 2,169 yards with 26 TDs and six interceptions. Mees also has rushed for 305 yards on 53 attempts with four TDs. Brooks leads the team in rushing with 1,116 yards on 143 attempts with 12 TDs. Senior wide receiver Donteea Dye leads the receiving corps with 53 catches for 949 yards and 13 TDs.

Defensively, junior linebacker Clay Staib leads the team with 76 tackles. Junior linebacker Will Lance is second with 51 tackles and senior linebacker Andy Kujawa is third with 49 stops.
