Paul "Dutch" Lisse '26 graduated from Baldwin-Wallace in 1926 and became a member of the B-W Alumni Athletic Association Hall of Fame in 1968.

During his four years at B-W, Lisse earned four varsity letters in football, captained the team his senior year, and became the first player in the College's gridiron history named to an All-Ohio team. The Cleveland Plain Dealer accorded to Lisse this honor in 1925 and he is still considered the best fullback ever to wear the Brown and Gold.

Not limiting his athletic energy to B-W's football program, he was also a standout in basketball and baseball. His nine varsity letters proved Lisse's ablility was equally distributed.

After receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree, Lisse began a 30-year career as a teacher, coach and later a principle of Struthers High School. He returned to the Berea area in 1956 as principle of Rohem Junior High School, and then in 1965 he served in the same capacity at Middleburg Heights Junior High. Lisse then retired, and made his home in Galion, Ohio, where he lived his youth.

For many years, Lisse, who is a bachelor, experienced the reward of helping young adults to develop into mature and productive citizens. In addition to his duties as an educator, he found time to conduct a boys camp at Cape Cod, guiding young minds and building young bodies.
