Julie Jones '92 was a member of the Baldwin Wallace softball team for four years. She lettered in each of those years as the team's catcher. She was named Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference in 1990, 1991 and 1992 and was a team captain in 1991 and 1992. Additionally in 1992, she was named All-Great Lakes Region, All-OAC, Academic All-Region, and an honorable mention GTE/CoSIDA Academic All-American.

She received her bachelor's degree from BW in communication in 1992 and remained active with softball following graduation. She served as director and clinician at various softball clinics including those held at BW, Kent State University and The Ohio State University and as the Cleveland Indians Fastpitch Camp Director. 

Julie earned a Master of Arts in Applied Communication Theory and Methodology from Cleveland State University and was the head coach of the Viking softball program for 10 years.
