Donald Hull graduated from Baldwin-Wallace in 1940, and was inducted in to the Alumni Athletic Association Hall of Fame in 1988.

Hull was one of the great B-W athletes that helped build Baldwin-Wallace's rich track tradition.

A native of Elyria, Ohio, Hull once held the school, Ohio Athletic Conference, and Big Four records in both the 440 and 880 yard runs. His best performances were 48.2 seconds in the 440 and 1:56 for the 880.

Hull went the entire 1937 season without loosing a race and in 1938 finished second in the 880 at the national AAU Championships. As a senior, Hull also served as captain of the track team.

Other activities kept Hull busy at B-W. In addition to running track, Hull was a member of the hockey team and was a cheerleader.

Sports and fitness have remained an active part of his life. Hull served as the National Association of Parks and Recreation Officials president and as an advisor to the President's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports.

Hull continued to be successful while competing in Masters track competitions. In 1982 and 1987, he was named Outstanding Senior Athlete in the Florida Olympics. At the 1982 Senior Pan Am Games and 1984 World Vetrans Gmaes, he earned the Most Outstanding Athlete award and was recognized by the President of Venezuela. Hull earned Athletic Congress All-America honors in the masters 100 meters, high jump and the long jump in 1986 and 1987.
