Anjee Beard Beaston '00 graduated BW in the class of 2000 and was inducted in the Alumni Athletic Association Hall of Fame in 2010.

Anjee Beard Beaston was one of the most outstanding women's basketball players in Yellow Jacket history and was a part of the first team to advance to the "Elite Eight" in the NCAA Division III Tournament in 1999-2000.  Moreover, Anjee and her teammates compiled an incredible four-year record of 100-15, twice won both the Ohio Athletic Conference regular season and OAC Tournament titles, three times advanced to the OAC Tournament Championship Game and four times to the Division III National Tournament.  

Individually, Anjee was both a WBCA (Women's Basketball Coaches Association and DIII News Division III All-American and the 1999-2000 Baldwin Wallace University Outstanding Senior Female Athlete.

Statistically, Anjee stands fifth  on the all-time scoring list with 1,198 points and fifth in rebounding with 644 caroms.  She set a then BW career record with 114 games played and a .579 career field goal percentage. She owns the BW and OAC record and tied an NCAA record with 18 straight made field goals over a four-game span in 1999-2000.

As a freshman in 1996-97, Anjee started all 28 games and averaged 8.6 points and 4.5 rebounds per game.  She also set a BW single-season record by canning 103-of-172 field goals for 59.9 percent.  She had a season-high 18 points in a 97-88 win against Muskingum College. As a sophomore in 1997-98, Anjee started all 29 games and averaged 10.1 points and 6.2 rebounds per game. Anjee helped BW to compile a 23-6 overall record.   She was named as an honorable mention All-OAC player for her efforts. In 1998-99, as a junior, Anjee started all 28 games and averages 11.2 points and 5.8 rebounds per game to rank second on the team in both categories.  She was tabbed as a second-team All-OAC player. As a senior in 1999-2000, Anjee earned first-team All-OAC honors and was a member of both the Marcia French Memorial and OAC all-tournament teams.  She averaged 12.0 points per game and grabbed 6.1 rpg. to rank second on the team in both categories.  She made .574 percent of her field goals (148 of 258) and blocked 24 shots.  She also canned a career-high 75% of her foul shots.

Today, Anjee is in her eighth year overall of teaching and fifth year of teaching sixth and seventh graders health and physical education in the Tiffin City School District.  She has coached basketball and track in middle school and was a varsity assistant women's basketball coach at her alma mater, Tiffin Columbian High School. Anjee recently completed her Master's of Education in Curriculum and Teaching.

She and her husband, Bill, who teaches health and physical education at Tiffin Columbian H.S., are the proud parents of two children, Logan and Lexi. Anjee also serves on the Board for the Tiffin Columbian Alumni Association. In 2004, Anjee was inducted into the Tiffin Columbian Hall of Fame.
