Christine Loos King '50 graduated from Baldwin-Wallace in 1950, and was inducted into the Alumni Athletic Association Hall of Fame in 1995.

King was involved in both sports, and on campus activities while at B-W and has taught composition and women's history at Columbia Basin College in Utah since 1973. King graduated with degrees in English and physical education.

A native of Danville, Ill., King participated in athletics both at the intercollegiate and intramural levels. She was a member of the women's intercollegiate basketball team and her favorite intramural sports were volleyball and softball.

In addition, King was a captain of the Dartmouth squad in the annual Cornell-Dartmouth game from 1948-1950. She also served as president of the Women's Recreation Association in 1949 and 1950, was a member of Pemms and a member of Sigma Delta Pi, and a national Spanish honorary.

After receiving her master's degree in 1969 from Idaho State University, King accepted a job offer at Columbia Basin College. She has been instructing, coordinating and directing the humanities division for the past 23 years. She is also a member of two education honoraries, Delta Kappa Gamma and Phi Delta Kappa.

King resides in Pasco, Washington. She has four children.
