Mike Blackburn was a four-year letterwinner in both football and wrestling. Blackburn earned Division III Hewlett-Packard All-America honors in football, as an offensive tackle, and earned All-American honors in wrestling, at 285 pounds. In football the Wintersville, Ohio native was a Dick Van Almen Award winner while helping the offense to gain more than 400 yards per game and 30 points per game. In his four seasons, the team had a record of 27-13. On the mat, he compiled a 75-50 record, was a team captain and a John Summa Award-winner. Today, Blackburn teaches in the Steuebenville School District and is the head coach of the freshman football team and head wrestling coach. He resides in Steubenville.
