Les DeLong '75 graduated from BW in 1975 and was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame in 2012.

DeLong was an outstanding wrestler who also played football at BW and was a member of the Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity. In wrestling, he was a two-time NCAA Division III national qualifier who lettered for four years, was the team captain, compiled an outstanding 58-8 career record and placed in the top three at his weight class all four years at the Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament. He placed first in 1972, third in 1973, second in 1974 and third in 1975.

Following graduation, DeLong became a teacher and coach and coached high school wrestling teams at Wellston, South Point, Chesapeake, Ironton St. Joseph’s, Thompson Ledgemont and Tiffin Columbian.
