Jim Clardy '93 graduated from BW in 1993 and was inducted into the Alumni Athletic Association Hall of Fame in 2005.
As an undergraduate at B-W, Clardy had his plate full. In addition to his outstanding performance on the football field, he also was a resident assistant, member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity, Greek Judicial Board and Student Senate.
A three-year starter and letterman, Jim was a three-time OAC Player of the Week and the only two-time recipient of the Bill Edwards Award as the OAC’s Most Valuable linebacker. He received All-American honors in both 1991 and 1992 and helped the Yellow Jackets to a 17-3 record during his junior and senior years. He was a two-time first team All-OAC pick, and a two-time Football Gazette and USA All-American at outside linebacker. A captain of the 1992 team, Jim ended his football career with 203 tackles, including a career high 100 tackles his junior year.
Currently, Jim is a regional manager for Endries International. He also is a drummer and youth group leader at his church.
