Jamie Baringer '98, a native of Mansfield, Ohio and St. Peter High School, was one of the best goalies in the Ohio Athletic Conference and the Mideast Region of Division III in the mid-1990s.

Individually, Baringer played four seasons as the starter in goal and helped lead the Yellow Jackets to an undefeated record and the OAC title in 1994 en route to being named as BW's Co-Most Valuable Player, first-team All-OAC and Division III All-Mideast Region. Overall, Baringer was three times All-OAC, twice OAC Defensive MVP, twice All-Ohio and twice All-Mideast Region. Twice she earned OAC Player of the Week accolades.

Statistically, Baringer still owns school-records for most career games played by a goalie (69), most career shutouts (28) and best seasonal goals-against-average (0.46). She is second all-time with nine shutouts in 1996 and third all-time with 630 saves. Her 630 saves also ranked her third in Division III from 1994-97.

In addition to excelling on the soccer field, Baringer was involved on campus in the Phi Mu sorority, the Circle K, the Parent Relations Committee, Student Court and Community Council.

Following graduation with a degree in sport management, Baringer attended and earned her master's degree in sports administration at Cleveland State University.
