Women’s Tennis Team Falls to Case Western Reserve

BEREA, OHIO -- The defending Ohio Athletic Conference champion Baldwin-Wallace College women's tennis team fell to cross-town rival Case Western Reserve University today (Wednesday, September 28, 2011),  9-0, on the Pop Collins Tennis Courts. 

The Yellow Jackets, who have won three of the past four OAC titles and advanced to three of the past four NCAA Division III National Tournaments, dropped all three doubles matches.  The Spartans kept rolling and took all six single's matches to round out the night.   

The B-W women are next in action on Saturday, October 8 against  Grove City (Pa.) and Carnegie Melon (Pa.) at Oberlin College as they round out the fall portion of their schedule.  The Grove City match starts at 11:00 a.m. with the Carnegie Melon match to follow at 3:00 p.m.
