Dondorfer Claims Second Career OAC Women’s Swimmer of the Week Accolade

WESTERVILLE, Ohio – For the second time in her career, Baldwin Wallace University sophomore All-Ohio Athletic Conference performer Mallory Dondorfer (Mentor) has been selected as the OAC Swimmer of the Week. 

Dondorfer earns the weekly honor after competing in seven events as she helped her team place sixth of 12 teams at the Oberlin College Invitational with 439.5 points.

In her individual events, Dondofer finished third in the 200-yard individual medley in a time of 2:12.68 and places third in the 400-yard individual medley in a time of 4:49.36 and finished fourth in the 200-yard backstroke in a time of 2:14.59. On the relay side, Dondorfer's 400-yard freestyle relay squad placed ninth in a time of 3:49.09, the 800-yard freestyle relay team finished fourth in a time of 8:24.82, the 200-yard medley relay squad finished eighth in a time of 1:55.16 and the 400-yard medley relay team places fourth in a time of 4:09.54.

In her career, Dondorfer is the reigning Ohio Athletic Conference Champion in the 200-yard individual medley and in the 200-yard backstroke. She has a career-best 200-yard individual medley time of 2:11.29, and career-best 200-yard backstroke time of 2:09.13.

The Yellow Jackets return to the pool on Saturday, December 3 when it hosts Malone University in the BW Natatorium inside the Lou Higgins Center.
