The Yellow Jacket men's team had five winning relay teams and captured titles in the 200-yard breaststroke, 250-yard crescendo freestyle, 800-yard freestyle, 200-yard freestyle  and the 100-yard freestyle.  SophomoreRoman Koval (Parma/Padua), senior Nick Gattozzi (Strongsville), junior John Goelz (South Park, Pa./South Park) and sophomore Ryan Musille (Canton/GlenOak) won the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:57.99.  In the 250 crescendo free relay, junior Vince Colwell (Parma/Normandy), Koval, sophomore Matt Diamond (Ashtabula/Lakeside) and freshman Nic Null (Shelby/Mansfield St. Peters) were victorious in 2:02.47.  In the 800-free relay, sophomore Hector Diaz (El Paso, Texas/Cathedral), junior Jordan Irwin (Westerville/South), sophomore Mike Demitrieff (Parma/Normandy) and senior Sean Sonnenberg (Napoleon) were first in a time of 7:40.84.  The 200-free relay was first in 1:31.01 as that relay team consisted of Colwell, Diamond, Musille and Sonnenberg.  Finally, senior Matt Laughlin (Centerville) combined withDemitrieff, Sonnenberg and Musille for the win in 53.36 in the 100-free relay.

The BW women had one winning relay in the 200-free relay in a time of 1:49.33.  The team  consisted of seniorKate Ritchey (White Oak, Pa./McKeesport), freshman Tara Stitzlein (Millersburg/West Holmes), sophomoreKelley Likes (Huron/Sandusky Perkins) and senior Kelsie Baker (Dover).

The BW swimmers and divers are back in action on Saturday, Oct. 25 when they host Mount Union College in its OAC dual meet opener in Berea at 1:00 p.m.
