CLEVELAND, OHIO -- A pair of lengthy rain delays led to the cancellation of the Case Western Reserve University versus Baldwin Wallace University softball doubleheader that began on Thursday, April 25 at Mather Park. The twinbill began as scheduled at 3:30 p.m., but only two innings were completed in game one due to heavy rain.

After an inning and a half, Baldwin Wallace led by a score of 2-0 before the first rain delay of 53 minutes hit. The teams returned to the field briefly for another full inning before the second round of rain hit causing the field to become unplayable.

The Yellow Jackets (19-17 and 4-10 OAC) close the 2013 campaign with an Ohio Athletic Conference doubleheader against Marietta College on Saturday, April 27 on Seniors' and Parents Day as well as the Strikeout Cancer Game.  First pitch is slated for 1 p.m.  Fans can follow all the action live via live stats at http://livestats.prestosports.com/baldwinwallace/
