DELAWARE, Ohio - The Baldwin Wallace University men's outdoor track and field team placed third at the Marv Fyre Invitational hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University on George Gauthier Track inside Selby Stadium. 

BW placed third out of ninth participating teams with 114 points. 

The Yellow Jackets individual events highlights included:

• Freshman All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection Kaeden Faggs (Marion / Harding) won the 200-meter dash in a time of 21.96
• Senior All-OAC hurdler ShaDaryll Clark II (Brook Park / Berea-Midpark) won the 110-meter hurdles in a time of 15.19 seconds
• Junior Mason Kooyman (Concord Township / Chardon) came in second in the 400-meter run in a time of 50.27 seconds
• Senior David Russo (DePew, N.Y.) placed fourth in the one-mile run in a time of 4:25.69
• Junior Carter Almady (Brunswick) came in fifth in the 5000-meter run in a time of 15:33.79
• Freshman Sam Sikorski (Columbia Station) finished sixth in the 800-meter run in a time of 1:58.48 
• Sophomore Broden Bostwick (Strongsville / St. Edward) placed 19th in the 100-meter dash in a time of 11.68

Field events highlighted:

• Freshman Drexton Friscone (Columbia Station / Columbia) won the triple jump with a distance of 42' 4"
• Sophomore All-OAC high jumper Christian Pfeiffer (Amherst) won the high jump with a height of 6' 6¾"
• Sophomore Thomas Hickman (Oxford / Talawanda) placed second in the discus throw with a mark of 
  142' 6"
• Sophomore Kaleu Tellas (Indianapolis, Ind. / International School of Indiana) finished third in the shot put with a distance of  47' 3¾"
• Faggs placed third in the long jump with a mark of 21' 6¼"

On the relay side:

• The 4x100-meter relay team of Faggs, junior Devontae Jackson (Cleveland / John Hay) ,Bostwick and freshman Rodney Washington Jr. (Warrensville Heights / Benedictine) were the runners up in a time of 43.11 seconds
• The 4x400-meter relay squad of Kooyman, Faggs, Sikorski ad Friscone placed second in a time of 3:27.69

The Yellow Jackets are back in action when they travel to Tiffin to compete in the two-day meet Tiffin Track Carnival on Frost-Kalnow Stadium
