GREENWOOD, Ind. - Baldwin Wallace University men's track and field senior Academic All-OAC selection Nick Dascani (Toledo/ Springfield), sophomore Academic All-OAC selection Joe Kelly (Lakewood), sophomore Mason Kiesel (New London / South Central), junior Academic All-OAC selection Matt Perry (Mentor) and junior OAC high jumper Christian Pfeiffer (Amherst) have been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team. 

Dascani, who earns his first accolade, carries 3.76 grade point average in criminal justice. This season, he had a season-best time in the 800-meter, one-mile run, 1500-meter, 5000-meter and 10,000-meter. He placed 48th at the OAC Cross Country Championships in a 8k time of 28:16.4. Off the track, Dascani is a two-time Academic All-OAC selection, Dean's List student, Jacket Scholar, Member of the Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society and is also a Member of the BW men's cross country team. 

Kelly, who earns his first honor, carries 3.79 grade point average in computer science. This season, he had a season-best time in the 1,000-meter, 1500-meter, 5000-meter and 10,000-meter run. He placed 77th at the OAC Cross Country Championships in a 8k time of 26:30.6. Off the track, Kelly is a Academic All-OAC selection and a dean's list student. 

Kiesel, who earns his first accolade, carries 3.98 grade point average in exercise science. This season, he had a season-best mark in the discus throw and shot put. Kiesel has been named an OAC field athlete of the week and has earned indoor track honors placing third in shot put. 

Perry, who earns his first honor, carries a 4.00 grade point average in Hospitality & Tourism Management. This season, he had a season-best time on the one-mile run, 3000-meter, 5000-meter and the 10,000-meter run. Off the track, Perry is an Academic All-OAC selection, Dean's List, Jacket Scholar, a student ambassador and the junior class vice president. 

Pfeiffer, who earns his first honor, carries a 3.63 grade point average in Sustainability & Environmental Science. This season, he has earned Indoor and Outdoor All-OAC honors being crowned the champion of high jump, earned OAC Field Athlete of the Week, had an indoor high jump season-best mark of 6' 7.75", had an outdoor high jump career-best mark of 6' 8.75", placed 15th at the 2023 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships and placed 11th at the 2023 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Off the track, Pfeiffer is a Dean's List student and Jacket Scholar. 

The Yellow Jackets finished the 2022-23 season finished sixth in the OAC indoor Championships and placed sixth at the OAC Outdoor Championships.
