Men’s Indoor Track and Field Athletes Compete at Final Qualifier Meet

ADA, Ohio – Select members of the Baldwin Wallace University men's indoor track and field teams competed in the Polar Bear Final Qualifier, hosted by Ohio Northern University inside the ONU Sports Center.

Freshman distance runner Zack Justus (Maineville/Kings) shaved half a second off his career best when he turned in a time of 2:00.05 to place second in the 800-meter run. Meanwhile, sophomore sprinter Drew Kopchak (Port Clinton) wrapped up his indoor campaign with a third-place finish in the 200-meter dash and a fifth-place finish in the 60-meter dash in times of 24.16 and 7.41 seconds, respectively.

The Yellow Jackets will open up the outdoor season on Saturday, March 21, at the Rose-Hulman (Ind.) Institute of Technology Early Bird Invitational inside the William Welch Complex in Terre Haute, Indiana.
