GREENWOOD, Ind. – Baldwin Wallace University senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference and Academic All-OAC thrower Ted Achladis (Avona Lake/Elyria Catholic) has been selected to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District 7 Men's Cross Country and Track and Field first-team.
Achladis now moves on to the Academic All-America ballot, which will be announced in mid-June.
He was a middle childhood education major that carried a 3.83 grade point average. Achladis is a thee time Academic All-OAC selection, a Dean's List student, Jacket scholar, member of the Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society and three-time USTFCCCA All-Academic selection.
Athletically, Achladis was a 2018 national qualifier, four-time USTFCCCA All-Great Lakes Region selection, four-time All-OAC performer, and 2018 OAC champion. During his career, he competed in the weight throw, hammer throw, shot put, and discus throw events.
