Three Men's Tennis Players Selected to All-OAC Squad

WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Three Baldwin Wallace University men's tennis players were slected to the All-Ohio Athletic Conference squad as voted on by coaches in the league.

Freshman Matt McGee (Ottawa Hills) earns first team All-OAC honors, junior Trey Kernan (Penfield, N.Y.) garners second team All-OAC honors and freshman Aidan Hicks (Oneida, N.Y.) gets honorable mention All-OAC honors.

McGee, who earns first team honors in his first season at BW, was named to the team after a season in which he went 13-5 at the No. 1 singles position, including a 13-3 record in dual matches. He also posted a 14-3 record at the No. 1 doubles position.

Kernan, garners his first All-OAC honors this season after he posted a 13-7 record, including an 11-5 record at the No. 2 singles position. In doubles play, he posted a 15-3 record at the No. 1 position. In his career, Kernan owns a 19-12 career record in singles play and a 22-8 record in doubles action.

Hicks, also earns his first All-OAC honors in his first season as a Yellow Jacket. Hicks posted a 7-8 record at the No. 3 singles position this season. In doubles play, he posted an 8-5 record, including a 7-5 record in the No. 3 spot.

BW returned to the OAC Semifinals this season and posted a 12-7 overall record with a 2-4 mark in the OAC.
