BEREA, Ohio - The Baldwin Wallace University women's soccer team fell to Ohio Northern University in an Ohio Athletic Conference matchup by a score of 3-1 on Tressel Field inside George Finnie Stadium.  

Ohio Northern's Alexa Glampitt scored the only goal of the first half (43:08) encouraging the Yellow Jackets to tie things up with the second goal of the game at 61:47. Despite their efforts, BW was unable to add to their score as Ohio Northern went on to score two additional goals finalizing their win. 

BW Leaders (8-8-1, 4-4 OAC)

• Senior Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference midfielder Alissa Scattino (Girard/Warren John F. Kennedy) scored the only goal for the Yellow Jackets  

• Senior All-OAC forward Sydney Rice (North Royalton) recorded one assist 

• Junior Academic All-OAC goalkeeper Katie Scott (Lewis Center/Olentangy) recorded a season-best 15 saves 

Ohio Northern Leaders (7-8-1, 6-2 OAC)

• Junior forward Alexa Clampitt kicked off the game with the first goal of the night 

• Junior Midfielder Emma Bowman also scored one goal 

• Sophomore Forward Haley Cannon tailied another goal for the Polar Bears

• Freshman Goalkeeper Morgan Moeller totaled 2 saves 

The Yellow Jackets are back on the field for their final game of the regular season as they host an Ohio Athletic Conference matchup against Capital University on Saturday, October 28th on Tressel Field inside George Finnie Stadium at 7 p.m.
