Women's Soccer Falls to Mount Union After Late Goal

ALLIANCE, Ohio - The Baldwin Wallace University women's soccer team fell to the University of Mount Union in an Ohio Athletic Conference matchup by a score of 2-1 inside Kehres Stadium. 

BW Leaders. (5-5-1, 1-1 OAC)

  • Sophomore forward Sydni Mudge (Birch Run, Mich.) scored the only goal for the Yellow Jackets making it her third straight game with a goal
  • Freshman forward Kalyn Rich (Lynchburg/Lynchburg-Clay) recorded one assist
  • Junior Academic All-OAC goalkeeper Katie Scott (Lewis Center/Olentangy) recorded four saves

Mount Union Leaders (4-4-1, 1-1 OAC)

  • Sophomore forward Madeline Boulos and junior forward Jillian Pidgeon each recorded one goal and one assist
  • Junior goalkeeper Rylee Oldfield totaled 12 saves

First Half (MU 1-0)

  • 7:34 - Boulos got the scoring started with an assist from Pidgeon

Second Half (MU 2-1)

  • 54:25 - Mudge put the Yellow Jackets on the board with an assist from Rich
  • 83:46 - Pidgeon scored the game winner off a pass from Boulos
