Bleich Secures Third OAC Wrestler of the Week

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio – For the third time this season, junior All-Ohio Athletic Conference and Academic All-OAC Stanley Bleich (North Ridgeville/Elyria Catholic) has been named OAC Wrestler of the Week.

Bleich garners this accolade after a 5-0 weekend at the Citrus Invitational, which saw him secure the 149lb title. The junior seized three major decisions and two decisions, including a 15-11 decision for the title.

For his career, he owns an 82-18 record, good for 23rd on BW's all-time career wins list. Of those victories he has seven pins and 23 major decisions.

The No. 7 Baldwin Wallace Wrestling team is back in action on Friday and Saturday January 10-11, for the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Duals, held at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Kentucky. Matches begin at 10 a.m.
