BEREA, OHIO -- Baldwin Wallace University senior Lydia Cole (East Canton) has been named to the 2008-09 All-Ohio Athletic Conference women's golf team. Cole was tabbed as an honorable mention selection.
Cole placed 27th at last weekend's OAC Championship Tournament at River Greens Golf Course in West Lafayette, Ohio and led BW throughout the season with a 91.40 stroke average during 15 rounds of golf. Cole also carded a career-best score of 82 at the 2008 Clash of the Clouse Tournament held in the fall at Windy Knolls Golf Club in Springfield. Her 82 also was a team season-best.
As a team, the Yellow Jackets competed in 10 tournaments this season and placed sixth at the OAC Championship Tournament under first-year Head Coach Sean Strickland.
