BW Women's Golf Team Stands 10th After First Round of Gannon (Pa.) Fall Invitational

BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin Wallace University women's golf team currently stands 10th as a team after the first 18 holes at the Gannon University Fall Invitational Tournament today (Saturday, October 4, 2008) at the Green Meadow Golf Club in Erie, Pennsylvania.  The teams will conclude play tomorrow (Sunday, Oct. 5).

 
The Yellow Jackets compiled 402 strokes after the first 18 rounds to rank 10th.
 
Individually, senior No.1 player Lydia Cole (East Canton) carded the low score of the day for BW with a 95 strokes. She was followed by freshman Ali Jones (West Muskingum) with a 97, sophomore Sam Migalski (Monahawkin, N.J./ Southern Regional) with a 104, sophomore Nicole Carlone (Canton/ Louisville St. Thomas Aquinas) with a 106 and freshman Caci Lewandowski (Sharon Center/ Medina Highland) with a 110.
 
Following the second round of the Gannon Invitational, BW will conclude its fall season on Oct. 11-12 when it travels to Springfield, Ohio to compete in the annual Wittenberg University Fall Tournament at the Windy Knoll G.C..
