MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – The undefeated Baldwin Wallace University women's basketball team claims its highest national ranking in 11 years, soaring to the No. 14 spot in D3hoops.com's fourth weekly installment of its national poll.

BW appears in the top-25 ranking for the fourth consecutive week with 239 total vote points; a 54-vote point increase from last week's No. 18 ranking. The Yellow Jackets are the sole Ohio Athletic Conference representative in this week's top-25 rankings, with Ohio Northern University and crosstown rival John Carroll University having just received votes. As aforementioned, BW also claims it highest national ranking in 11 years, since garnering the No. 14 position in the 2008-09 Week 1 poll.

The Yellow Jackets four-spot jump in the national poll comes following a week that featured a 20-point Ohio Athletic Conference victory against Marietta College on the road. BW can credit its fourth consecutive upward transition in the national rankings to a currently unbeaten 7-0 overall record, and a resilient average margin of victory of 19.1 points per game.

The Yellow Jackets will return to the court on Wednesday, December 18, where they will partake in the opening segment of a BW women and men's basketball double-header against non-conference opponent Trine (Ind.) University in Ursprung Gymnasium at 5:00 p.m.
