MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – The currently undefeated Baldwin Wallace University women's basketball team has jumped to the No. 22 spot in D3hoops.com's first weekly installment of its national rankings.

After receiving 32 vote points in the D3hoops.com's 2019-20 preseason poll and failing to crack the top-25 rankings, BW garners 122 points in the Week 1 poll to appear in the national rankings for the first time since landing at the No. 20 spot in 2018-19's Week 4. The Yellow Jackets are also the sole Ohio Athletic Conference team represented in this week's top-25 rankings, as both Ohio Northern University and Capital University just received votes.

The Yellow Jackets' surgence in this week's national poll can be credited to a hot start to the season, which consists of an undefeated 4-0 record and a second-consecutive attainment of the Chuck Resler Tournament Championship in Rochester, New York. BW has also won all four of its games in rather convincing fashion, boasting an average margin of victory of 15.5 points per game.

The Yellow Jackets return to the court on Monday, December 2 when they host Heidelberg University at 7:00 p.m. in Urpsrung Gymnasium to open up OAC play.
