Fecht Named to D3hoops All-Great Lakes Region Team

Complete D3hoops.com 2019-20 All-Great Lakes Region Team

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Baldwin Wallace University women's basketball senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference forward/guard Hannah Fecht (Hilliard/Davidson) has been named to the 2019-20 D3hoops.com All-Great Lakes Region team.

Fecht makes her first ever appearance on the All-Great Lakes Region team, landing on its third team. The senior put up averages of 10.4, 2.9 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.1 steals, and 0.7 blocks per game in 2019-20, on route to becoming BW's first All-Great Lakes Region honoree since Audrey Smolik in 2014-15. Some of her season highlights included being named the OAC Tournament Most Valuable Player, emerging on both the season-opening Chuck Resler and winter break Wartburg Holiday Classic All-Tournament teams, becoming the 15th player in program history to eclipse 1,000 points for her career, and breaking BW's single-game three-pointers made record with seven against Otterbein University on January 11. For her career, Fecht has recorded averages of 9.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.0 steals, and 0.5 blocks per game, and her 1080 total points rank her 11th amongst the program's all-time leaderboards.

BW finished the 2019-20 campaign tied for its best record in program-history with a 28-2 mark, and swept both the OAC regular season and tournament titles for the first time since the 2007-08 season. The Yellow Jackets advanced to the NCAA Tournament's "Sweet 16" before the NCAA's abrupt announcement to cancel of all winter and spring sports, effective immdiately, in regards to combatting the spread of COVID-19.
